Privacy Policy

This describes what AI Builders collects, why, and how it's protected — including the biometric-adjacent data (voice recordings, photos, video) that Clone Suite and AI Phone Receptionist necessarily involve, since cloning a voice or likeness is the entire point of those products.

What we collect

Account: email and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text).

Clone Suite: a voice consent recording and the resulting cloned voice, a set of your photos used to train a personalized image model, video/photo used to create a talking avatar, and any bio/writing samples you provide for Brain Clone. Each of these is collected only after you complete that product's consent-verification step.

AI Phone Receptionist: your business's knowledge base (hours, services, FAQs, pricing), the phone number provisioned for you, and call recordings/ transcripts from calls your assistant handles.

Payment: handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.

Site analytics: browsing behavior on this website — pages visited, clicks, scrolling, and session recordings of on-page activity — collected by Microsoft Clarity to help us understand what visitors are actually trying to do on the site, plus standard traffic/conversion analytics from Google Analytics. This is website-interaction data only: it doesn't use your camera or microphone and isn't related to the biometric data described below. Password and payment fields are always masked and never captured. Neither one loads until you accept the cookie banner shown on your first visit — decline it, or don't respond, and neither runs. Clarity uses first-party cookies tied to Microsoft's broader identity/advertising ecosystem (not just this site) to do this — see Microsoft's own Clarity documentation for the full technical detail.

Domain search: what you type into the domain search box is sent to our AI provider to brainstorm names, and the candidate names are checked with our domain registrar for availability and price. If you tick "Add more name ideas from Verisign", what you type in that box is also sent to Verisign, Inc., the company that runs .com and .net, for this and later searches in the same browser. Verisign handles it as an independent controller under the Verisign Privacy Statement: to suggest names and check whether they're taken, and to analyze and improve its own services, including aggregated statistics that don't identify you. To prove you chose this, we keep a record of when you turned it on or off, the wording you saw, your browser type, your country, and a one-way hash of your IP address (not the address itself). Untick the box at any time to stop sharing.

Social accounts you connect

If you use Social Media Builder, you connect your social accounts on each network's own sign-in page. We never see those passwords. The network gives our social publishing provider permission to post for you, and we keep the account's name and handle, the business details you enter, your drafts and images, and the outcome of each post. We use that access only to publish posts you schedule and to read back whether they went out. Disconnect an account from your dashboard at any time; when your subscription ends we disconnect all of them.

Biometric data specifically

Voice recordings and photos/video of your face are biometric identifiers under laws including Illinois' BIPA, and Texas and Washington's biometric privacy statutes. We collect this only with your explicit consent at the point of verification, use it only to generate outputs for your own account, never sell it, and never share it beyond the AI providers necessary to run that generation (listed below). You can request deletion of your biometric data and any derived clone assets at any time — see "Your rights" below.

Who we share it with

We use the various processors to actually generate your content — each receives only what's necessary for the specific run. Site-wide, Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics collect the browsing analytics described above from visitors who accept the cookie banner, not just customers. We don't sell your data to anyone, and we don't use it for advertising.

Storage and security

Consent recordings and photos are stored at unguessable, unlisted URLs that are never linked anywhere on the public site or in search results — they're fetched only server-side, either by us or by the specific AI provider generating your content at that moment. Database access is restricted and encrypted in transit and at rest by our hosting providers.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, request deletion of your account and everything tied to it (including biometric data and derived clone assets), or ask us to stop processing it, at any time — email info@ai-builders.co. We'll act on deletion requests within 30 days, including asking our processors to delete their copies where their systems support it.

Children

AI Builders' products are not directed at, and may not be used by, anyone under 18.

Changes

We'll update the date at the top of this page if this policy changes materially.
